1.) At home try on: ANY OF OUR COLLECTION GOWNS CAN BE SHIPPED TO YOUR HOME FOR A $100 PER SAMPLE (+ SHIPPING) TRY ON FEE. IF THE DRESS HAPPENS TO BE THE ONE, THE TRY-ON FEE WILL AUTOMATICALLY GO TOWARDS YOUR OVERALL PURCHASE. To send us the request, just fill out this form, send through the fee and presto! Your SAMPLE GOWN(S) will be shipped out and be ready for you to TRY ON IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME. This is a great option for brides who do not live near any of our stores, or also in the case that our stores don’t carry the specific gown they want to try on (find a list of our stores with the list of gowns they carry on our stores page here). OFTEN OUR BRIDES INVITE THEIR BRIDESMAIDS/FRIENDS/MOM/SISTERS/ETC. OVER FOR A “TRY-ON PARTY”. THIS COULD BE COMPLETE WITH CHAMPAGNE AND/OR APPETIZERS. IN THE MEANTIME- PUT THE BUBBLY ON ICE, CALL UP THE GAL PALS, AND HAVE A BALL TRYING ON YOUR GOWN!
2.) Find a bridal boutique that carries Daughters of Simone near you: We’ve been fortunate to have linked up with some pretty (damn) cool bridal boutiques in the U.S. and throughout the world. Out of all our options, it’s tough to beat the “bridal boutique experience”. Here you will receive a one-on-one private fitting with a personal bridal stylist complete with an arey of unique bridal accessories to choose from and often times even lingerie and shoe options. 3.) Attend a trunk show: About once a year we ship all of our collection gowns to each of the bridal boutiques listed on our site. During these pre-scheduled dates brides can book an appointment through the store and try on every single gown we own (and often times purchase at a “hush hush” discount). This is pretty special because for the most part our stores only carry a couple of our gowns (about 4-7 each) year round. Keep in mind, these shows tend to book up fast so if you’re into it (round up the girls!) and book your fitting appointment as far ahead of time as possible. All gowns come in women’s U.S. sizes- S, M, L, XL (sizing chart below). If you are unsure of your size please send us your measurements and we will happily help you find which category best fits you. (We highly recommend you take your measurements before ordering.)
To be sure this gown will be the right fit for you, please take the following measurements- bust, hips, waist, and length from the top of the shoulder on down to your toes (be sure to wear heels a relative height to those you’ll be wearing on the big day while taking this measurement). We always recommend that you order up. Once you receive your gown you can easily alter down for that perfect fit. Keep in mind- it’s very difficult, costly, and sometimes not even possible to let a dress out if it’s too snug. Our advice: just don’t do it! Order up.
All of our gowns are made-to-order, which means we do not begin constructing your dress until after you order it. Because of this speciality our collection gowns take 12-15 weeks (4ish months) to create until they are shipped out. (If you need a rush order, $150 fee for long gowns & $75 for short, please message us as soon as possible.)
We can usually accommodate rush orders ($150 fee for long gowns, $75 for short). Because our “busy times” vary throughout the year we can’t tell you exactly how much time we need to secure your rush order. In which case, please message us as soon as possible and we’ll let you know if we can make it happen. (FYI- Most of the time we can!)
For that perfect fit, we recommend looking towards your local bridal seamstress to accommodate any minor alterations necessary (a basic Google search should turn up some possible options for you). This is not a service we provide in-house.
Due to the specialization of made to order gowns all of our dresses are non-refundable/non-exchangeable. That’s tricky, we get it, so if you have any questions please message us. We’re happy to help!
No worries. We got you. In the case that any of our brides are unable to cover the full amount of the gown right away we allow for paying 1/2 of the price up front (in a non-refundable deposit), while the other half will be due 30 days from the original payment. Look for the “Deposit” option near the “Add to Cart” button, or message us for more info!
We’re sure buying a wedding gown online seems a bit tricky, let us send you a fabric swatch from your favorite gown(s) so you can feel + see the fabric for yourself! E-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your mailing address and which gown(s) you’re interested in. We’ll have your swatch(s) sent right out!
All orders are sent FedEx or UPS with a tracking code. If you would like a faster delivery method, message us and we will incorporate the difference to the total shipping cost.
Your gown should arrive 1 to 3 weeks after we ship it. Hold tight, it’s on it’s way. After your order goes through customs, and leaves the US, we are no longer able to track it. You will receive a custom’s number via email once your order has been shipped. Use this number to track down your package once it has been sent.
Some countries may charge import duties or other random fees. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over this and it’s your responsibility to pay for any fees.
