In order to be eligible for an in-person fitting at Daughters of Simone HQ, we will require the following prerequisites:
Must not have not travelled via airplane or visited a hotspot three weeks prior to requested appointment date
Must not have been in contact with anyone who is sick or has been exposed to COVID 19 in the past 30 days
Must not be experiencing any COVID symptoms
If you are unable to confirm all of these requirements, please wait to schedule your appointment. If you are exposed or become ill prior to your appointment date, we will ask you to reschedule. We will do our best to accommodate you as soon as you are well
Procedures in place to protect customers & staff:
Our salon hours are currently by-appointment-only to ensure proper social distancing
We limit the number of guests and staff on-site
All staff are fever screened upon arrival, required to wear medical grade masks, and required to wash or sanitize their hands frequently
We require a phone call prior to your appointment to ensure that our guests understand and accept all standards and procedures currently in place
We sanitize the entire salon between appointments, including sanitizing high-touch areas and surfaces according to cdc standards
- We will continue to offer at-home fittings: Our Bride Box allows you to borrow some of our sample gowns and have them shipped directly to your home, for a small fee.
What to expect before your appointment:
Schedule your appointment on our website at least 1 week in advance
We will ask you to select the top 5 gowns you wish to try on. These gowns will be sanitized and ready for your arrival
Expect a short phone call the day of your appointment to review policies and expectations
What to expect from your in-person appointment:
Upon arrival to the bridal lair, please make yourself comfortable on the front porch and our stylist will welcome you inside when ready
At this time we will not be offering refreshments during your appointment and we will not allow food or drinks inside. You are welcome to share a snack/drink on the porch prior to entering
Bride & guest(s) will be fever screened with a temperature check prior to entering
Hand sanitizer is mandatory and available prior to entering the salon
Bride, guest(s), & stylist must wear a properly fitting medical grade mask (no cloth or other types of non-medical grade masks will be permitted. Masks must be worn covering both nose and mouth)
Social distancing must be practiced during the entire appointment (face masks will be provided if necessary)
To ensure the safety of our brides, guests and staff, we are allowing only 2 guests to accompany bride until further notice
Bride and guest(s) are welcome to use our WiFi network to FaceTime family & friends
Your stylist will not be permitted to enter the fitting room with you. You will be responsible for getting in and out of dresses, we highly encourage you to bring a guest who is able to assist you.
Upon exiting the fitting room your stylist will be able to clip the gown for best fit, as well as take your measurements & make styling recommendations. As often as possible, your stylist will guide you and answer all of your questions from a safe distance.
