We are located in the middle of California out of a beautiful 100 year old home in the historic Tower District of our hometown of Fresno, California.

Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes, unless you come during our Open Hours every Thursday from 4pm-7pm, our space is strictly by appointment only.
How do I make an appointment?

How long will my appointment run for?
Bridal appointments run for one hour. If you would like to make a longer day of it, we do offer 90 minute appointments through our V.I.B. (Very Important Bride) option.
How far out do I need to buy my gown?
Our gowns take 12-15 weeks to make (plus don’t forget to tack on ample time for alterations!) so we recommend booking your appointment at least 6 months prior to your wedding day. We can accommodate rush orders for an additional cost. Inquire within.
How many people can I bring?
We allow a maximum of 4 people due to space restrictions.
If you would like to bring more than 4 people with you please look into our V.I.B. (Very Important Bride) appointments.
Do you charge for appointments?
Not really. Due to high demand, we charge $25 to hold your bridal appointment. Upon arrival your $25 will be reimbursed to you. Keep in mind, cancellations must be made 48hrs in advance.
(NOTE: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment you will forfeit your $25 reservation fee.)
How long are appointments?
Daughters of Simone bridal appointments are 60 minutes (1hr).
Should you wish for a lengthier appointment a V.I.B. appointment may be a better fit for you. Inquire within.
How long will my dress take to arrive?
Our gowns take 12 – 15 weeks, from the day your order is placed to the day it arrives at your doorstep. Should you need your gown to arrive earlier, we do have rush options available for an additional cost.
Tell me more about rush orders.
We can speed up your gown order for a $300 additional cost. Requests for less than 8 weeks must be approved by a DOS team member. Unfortunately, not all rushes are approved, this is determined by the date requested. type of order, and time of year, but always ask us. We will do our best to accommodate you!
Do you take walk ins?
We have open hours from 4pm-7pm on Thursday Afternoons. If you can’t make it then, feel free to always reach out to us (DOSHQ@daughtersofsimone.com) to see if you can slip in during a last minute cancellation. Our availability is also listed on the scheduler.
What should I wear and/or bring to my appointment?
Might we suggest putting in a little extra effort this day? Maybe do your hair, slap on some French perfume, roll down the street blasting Queen Bey…whatever’s going to get you to feeling yourself. Take it from us, trying on gowns can be a bit overwhelming so looking and feeling your best can be a game changer.
Extra points: bring shoes whatever heel height that you plan on wearing on the wedding day (for measurement purposes), a strapless bra or sticky bra is always a good idea, and (if you’re into it) those trusty spanx!
Do you offer gown customizations?
No. Each piece is carefully and intricately designed to fit around it’s specific fabric and style. Often our gowns go through up to 7 fit changes/sessions before approval is secured for production, so even the slightest modification in the design can be a recipe for disaster.
Do you offer in-house alterations?
No. We have a list of preferred seamstresses that we can refer you to but we do not offer this service in-house. (NOTE: DOS does not take a cut from, nor are affiliated with, any of the seamstresses that we recommend.)
How do I pick up my gown?
We ship all gown orders directly to your door step.
Can I bring my pet?
No, sorry. Gotta leave little scruffy at home for now. Too many silk gowns : )
