What can I expect during my appointment?
A completely fresh experience from your typical bridal boutique atmosphere. (Check out our Instagram @daughtersofsimonehq for visuals of the space.) A DOS stylist will guide you during a 1hr full service appointment and the main focus will be on you, your needs, your vibes, and your comfort. They will help you choose styles to try on from our full collection of Daughters of Simone Bohemian Bridal Gowns. You can also rely on them to make styling recommendations and alteration suggestions.
Alongside our made-to-order bridal gowns we offer an array of vintage finds, curated local artisan goods & bridal accessories.

We are located in the middle of California out of a beautiful 100 year old home in the historic Tower District of our hometown of Fresno, California. (DOSHQ will reopen for private appointments on November 14.)

What is the price range of your gowns?
$1500 – $2500
What size sample gowns are available to try on at dos?
Our in-house sample gowns range is size M-XL (6-18) but we have creative ways of fitting up to a size xxL+ (20+). If you are a size XXL and up please email us at doshq@daughtersofsimone.com beforehand so we can walk you through what styles we believe will look and fit beautifully on you.
What sizes do you have available for ordering?
Our gowns can be ordered in XS – 5XL.

How long will my appointment run for?
Bridal appointments run for one hour.
How many people can I bring?
We allow a maximum of 3 people (number includes the bride) due to Covid19 safety reasons.
How far out do I need to buy my gown?
Our gowns take 15 weeks to make (plus don’t forget to tack on ample time for alterations!) so we recommend booking your appointment at least 6 months prior to your wedding day. We can accommodate rush orders for an additional cost.
Tell me more about rush orders.
We can speed up your gown order to 8-12 weeks, for a $300 additional cost. Requests for less than 8 weeks must be approved by a DOS team member. Unfortunately, not all rushes are approved, this is determined by the date requested. type of order, and time of year, but always ask us. We will do our best to accommodate you!
How long will my dress take to arrive?
Our gowns take 15 weeks, from the day your order is placed to the day it arrives at your doorstep. Should you need your gown to arrive earlier, we do have rush options available for an additional cost.
What should I wear and/or bring to my appointment?
Might we suggest putting in a little extra effort this day? If that’s doing your hair, slapping on some French perfume, or roll down the street blasting Queen Bey. Whatever’s going to gets you feelin yourself. Take it from us, trying on gowns can be a bit overwhelming so looking and feeling your best can be a game changer.
Extra points: For accurate measurement purposes, bring shoes whatever shoe/heel height that you plan on wearing on the wedding day. A strapless bra or sticky bra is always a good idea too, and (if you’re into it) those trusty spanx!
–But pleeeeese, please, please no fresh spray tans or major work-out sessions before you pop in. We only have one set of each sample gown and we want to try and keep them as good looking as possible for you and the next brides to be.
What is the start-to-finish process of purchasing a dress from DOS?
We aim to keep it simple. You will come in, try on gowns, if you feel you’ve found ‘the one’ we’ll take down your measurements, jot down your info and place your order. When your dress arrives from our manufacturers we’ll conduct a full inspection of your gown and then ship it directly to you.
We’d also be happy to give you recommendations on some amazing local seamstresses for alterations. (*Note: DOS does not receive a financial cut or “kick back” from any of the list of seamstresses we refer.)
Do you create custom gowns?
The short answer is no. Each piece in the Daughters of Simone Collection is carefully and intricately designed to fit around it’s specific fabric and structure. Often our gowns go through up to 7 fit changes/sessions before approval is secured for production so making even the slightest modification can really mess up how the gowns fits on a body and no one wants that.
We do however; offer a selection of 30+ styles to choose from our many collections, many of which have their own unique options, such as train removal, liner colors, sleeve lengths, and more! One gown may come in 4 or 5 different ways, thus creating an abundance of different styles that can be unique to your own personal style.
Do you offer in-house alterations?
We’d be happy to recommend to you a list of local seamstresses we recommend, but we do not offer any alterations in-house.

How do I pick up my gown?
No need to pick up. We know you’re busy planning your wedding! We ship all gown orders directly to your door step.
Returns + Exchanges
Due to the nature of our Made-to-order process, your gown will be final sale. Sample Sale gowns, Made to order jewelry and vintage pieces are also final sale.
Where can I park?
Street parking is pretty easy in this area.
Can I bring my pet?
No, sorry. Gotta leave little scruffy at home for now. Too many silk gowns : )
